Social networks and their impact on the young generation

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá sociálními sítěmi a jejich působením na mladou generaci a s tím spojená případná rizika. Teoretická část se zaobírá stručnou definicí sociálních sítí, jejich krátkou historií i současnou podobou. Práce se dále zaměřuje na různé druhy rizik, která jsou spojená s užíváním těchto sítí a také různé na preventivní programy. S ohledem na povahu práce je zde zahrnut i možný psychologický a sociální vliv na mladou generaci a také funkce soukromí na internetu. Praktická část se zaměřuje na aktuální vztah mladé generace k sociálním sítím obecně. Hlavní součástí praktické části je provedení dotazníkového šetření na vybraném vzorku respondentů. Díky tomuto dotazníku je zjištěn pohled jedinců na sociální sítě obecně a jejich pozitivní či negativní vliv na reálný život. V závěru práce jsou uvedeny zjištěné výsledky včetně návrhů a doporučení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with social networks and their impact on the young generation and the associated potential risks. The theoretical part deals with a brief definition of social networks, their short history and current form. The thesis also focuses on the different types of risks that are associated with the use of these networks, as well as various prevention programs. With regard to the nature of the thesis, the possible psychological and social impact on the young generation is also included, as well as the functions of privacy on the Internet. The practical part focuses on the current relationship of the young generation to social networks in general. The main part of the practical part is to conduct the questionnaire survey on a selected sample of respondents. Thanks to this questionnaire, the view of individuals on social networks in general and their positive or negative impact on real life is ascertained. At the end of the work, the results of the questionnaire are presented as well as the suggestions and recommendations.
