The behaviour of political parties in relation to the influence of media on citizen's decision-making and their socio-economical impacts.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá pozicí občana - voliče, který se nachází na poptávkové straně ve volebním procesu. Analyzovány jsou jeho postoje v souvislosti s vlivem médií a odrazem v jeho voličských preferencích před volbami a po volbách. Stručně je v této souvislosti popsána úloha médií, politické scény a sociologického průzkumu. Práce obsahuje praktickou aplikaci průzkumu v podobě dvou dotazníkových šetření, jejichž výsledky se staly výchozím podkladem pro následné analýzy zpracované mj. za pomocí uplatnění statistických metod. V závěru práce jsou uvedena klíčová zjištění a navržena doporučení.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the position of a citizen - a voter who is found on the demand side of an election process. The voter's attitudes in connection with the influence of the media and the reflection of the voter's preferences before and after the election process are analyzed. The roles of media, political scene and sociological survey are briefly described. The thesis consists of the practical application of the survey in the form of two questionnaires. Its results happened to be the initial base for the subsequent analyses carried out i.a. by applying statistical methods. The conclusion of the thesis states the key findings and the proposed recommendations.
