E-learning at Austrian schools

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis issues the implementation of e-learning into the school system, with explicit focus to Austrian schools. The application of the multimedia teaching software has in Austria more than ten years old tradition. In the initial part of the thesis are outlined the general terms and definitions, e.g. e-learning, blended learning, so as the psychological and pedagogical basics, e.g. the individualisation, differentiation, collaborative learning, autonomous learning or didactical approach. Furthermore is reacted to the historical development of e-learning in Austria and the trend-setting Austrian e-learning projects are introduced. The attached authentic experience statements of educators from different school types in Austria clarify the advantages and disadvantages of the media-assisted teaching.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce tématizuje implementaci e-learningu do školství se zaměřením na školy v Rakousku. Využívání multimedálního výukového software se v Rakousku těší více než desetileté tradici. Úvodní část práce shrnuje základní pojmy a definice, např. e-learning, blended learning, jako i psychologické a pedagogické základy, např. individualizace, diferenciace, kolaborativní výuka, autonomní účení nebo didaktický záměr. Dále je načrtnut historický vývoj e-learningu v Rakousku a jsou představeny nejdůležitější projekty v oboru. Následující shrnutí autentických výpovědí vyučujících na rozdílných typech rakouských škol dokreslují výhody a nevýhody výuky za podpory médií.
