Analysis of Emergencies on the Railway Network in the Olomouc Region from the Viewpoint of the Influence of Weather

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá identifikací lokalit na železniční síti, kde dochází nebo může dojít vlivem počasí k mimořádným událostem. Výstupem práce bude navržená metodika, na jejímž základě bude možné zpracovat digitální mapu rizikových míst na železniční síti. V praktické části budou navržena opatření k zamezení vzniku mimořádné události v dané lokalitě na železniční síti. V případě, že k mimořádné události dojde, bude navržena alternativní objízdná trasa, např. vlakem po železnici, autobusem po silnici.

Abstract:

This work focuses on identifying locations on the railway network where extraordinary events occur or may occur due to weather conditions. The outcome of the work will be a proposed methodology based on which it will be possible to create a digital map of high-risk areas on the railway network. In the practical part, measures will be proposed to prevent the occurrence of extraordinary events in a given location on the railway network. In case an extraordinary event does occur, an alternative bypass route will be proposed, for example, by train on the railway or by bus on the road.
