Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Oděvní kolekce - autorská metráž - Madeira reflektuje autorčinu roční stáž v Portugalsku. Oděvní kolekce je inspirovaná především oceánem, dále také ostrovem Madeira a tradičním madeirským krojem a řemeslem. V práci jsou spojovány elementy z přírodního a kulturního dědictví Madeiry. Využívá tradiční ženskou siluetu s důrazem na pasovou linii a za použití přírodních materiálů a řemeslnosti jsou přetvářeny do moderního oděvnictví. Barevností sítotiskového potisku a lehkostí použitých materiálů kolekce vzdává hold přírodě, řemeslu a Atlantickému oceánu.

Abstract:

Bachelor's thesis Fashion collection - author yardage - Madeira reflects author's year-long internship in Portugal. More than anything else this fashion collection is inspired by the ocean, along with the Madeira island and traditional madeiran folclore dress and craftsmanship. The project combines elements from Madeira's natural and cultural herritage. The collection uses the traditional feminine silhouette with an emphasis on the waistline, natural materials and craftsmanship, transforming them into modern garments. With the color palette of the screen print and the lightness of the materials, the collection pays tribute to nature, craft and the Atlantic Ocean.
