S prichadzajúcou možnosťou používania Android telefónov ako platobných terminálov, je poskytnutie bezpečnostných opatrení týmto zariadeniam čoraz viac dôležitejšie. With the upcoming option for android phones to be used as payment terminals, it is becoming increasingly important to provide adequate security measures to these devices. Payment terminals developed by MONET+ use 3DES for the encryption of data and communication with the server.
