Abstract:

Anotace Název práce: Kritéria výběru pracovníků do krizových oblastí Širším tématem práce je pomoc obětem mimořádných událostí, jako jsou hromadná neštěstí a katastrofy. Pozornost je soustředěna především na pomáhající pracovníky. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké schopnosti, dovednosti a osobnostní vlastnosti požaduje od pracovníka organizace, která pomáhající pracovníky zaměstnává a vysílá do krizových oblastí. Teoretická část nejprve specifikuje pojmy „hromadné neštěstí“, „katastrofa“ a „krize“. Poté nastiňuje služby, poskytované obětem neštěstí a pracovníky, kteří tyto služby poskytují. Přitom se soustředí především na služby spadající k sociální práci – krizovou intervenci a humanitární práci. Nakonec se zaměřuje na zmapování osobnostních charakteristik a schopností krizového pracovníka, jak je popisuje literatura, a také nároků na něj kladených a rizik, která pro něj z jeho práce vyplývají. Praktická část pojednává o výzkumu, provedeném ve vybrané organizaci, zaměstnávající a vysílající pracovníky do krizových oblastí. Charakterizuje vybranou organizaci, popisuje realizaci výzkumu a jeho výsledky. Na závěr jsou uvedena doporučení vyplývající z výsledků výzkumu.

Abstract:

Annotation Paper title: The criteria for staff selection in crisis regions The broader theme of the submitted thesis constitutes the help given to the victims of emergency situations such as large-scale disasters and humanitarian catastrophes. The main focus is fastened primarily on assistance providing staff. The work objectives are to find out what abilities, skills and character features of humanitarian workers are required by organizations employing such workers and sending them to work in depressed areas. The theoretical part first nails down expressions „large-scale disaster“ , „catastrophe“ and „crisis“. This is followed by an outline of services that humanitarian workers provide people in need, with. These services include only activities closely related to social work which are crisis intervention and humanitarian work. The final bit of this part is dedicated to identifying character features and personal abilities that humanitarian workers should possess as they are described in specialized literature. Demands made on these workers and risks arising from their activities are also included. The practical part focuses on the research conducted at the selected organization that employs and distributes humanitarian workers to crisis areas. Besides the description of research steps and its results, this part also offers a brief profile of analyzed organization. In the end, suggestions ensuing from research results are presented.
