Abstract:
V laboratořích Biofyzikálního ústavu AV ČR je testován inhibitor SAH-hydrolasy, DHPA, který je nadějným kandidátem pro epigenetické terapie. Experimenty provedené na tabákových rostlinách potvrdily, že aplikace inhibitoru během klíčení způsobuje hypomethylaci DNA. Míra hypomethylace se liší v závislosti na koncentraci inhibitoru. Abstract:
In the laboratories of Institute of Biophysics AS CR, v.v.i., DHPA, an inhibitor of SAH-hydrolase is tested. DHPA is the hopeful candidate for epigenetic therapies. Experiments on tabacco plants confirmed that the application of the inhibitor during seed germination can cause hypomethylation of DNA.
