Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou diskurzu fiktivních dialogů v románu Heat Wave od Penelopy Livelyové. Vybraný materiál zahrnuje druhou a třetí kapitolu. Analýza se týká jednotlivých prvků nepřímosti: implikace, ironie a vágnosti. Analýza postupuje chronologicky dle uspořádání dialogů v románu, v nichž jsou zkoumány funkce jednotlivých prvků, skrytý význam a jejich působení na chování či mluvu postav …more
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with discourse analysis of fictional dialogues in Heat Wave by Penelope Lively. The chosen material includes the chapters Two and Three. The analysis concerns individual elements of indirectness: implicature, irony and vagueness.
