Headhunting in CR

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Headhuning v ČR“ je zaměřena na komplexní popis a zmapování činností headhuntingových společností, headhunterů a služby executive search na území České republiky. Práce je standardně rozdělena na dvě části – část teoretickou a část empirickou. Teoretická část popisuje základní prvky lidských zdrojů a jejich řízení, se zaměřením na konkrétní problematiku a možnosti nabírání zaměstnanců do společnosti. Empirická část se do hloubky věnuje aktuálnímu stavu headhuntingu v České republice, jeho konkrétním trendům, specifikům a náležitostem. Podklady bakalářské práce jsou především hloubkové rozhovory s předními českými headhuntery a HR specialisty, podpořeny literární rešerší veřejně dostupných článků. Cílem práce je zmapovat metodu headhuntingu a zhodnotit jeho aktuální stav v ČR. Současně v rámci výzkumu odhalit motivaci a osobnostní rysy headhunterů a v neposlední řadě určit, v jakých případech a na jaké pozice je využívání služby headhuntingu nejefektivnější. Práce dále obsahuje popis fungování personálních oddělení firem a porovnává výhody a nevýhody různorodých metod získávání zaměstnanců.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis „Headhunting in CR“ is focused on the complex description and the mapping of activities of headhunting companies, headhunters and the service executive search in the Czech republic. The work is divided into two parts – theoretical part and empirical part. The theoretical part describes basic elements of human resources and human resources managements as a whole. Main focus is put on the ways and methods how employees can be recruited into companies. The empirical part puts an emphasis on a current situation of headhunting in the Czech republic, its specific trends, features and requirements. The base of the bachelor's thesis is mainly in-depth interviews with leading Czech headhunters and HR specialists, supported by a literature review of publicly available articles. The aim of this work is to map the method of headhunting and to evaluate its current situation in the Czech republic. Simultaneously within the scope of the research to reveal the motivation and personality traits of headhunters and to determine in which cases the use of headhunting is the most effective. This work also contains a general description of a functioning of the personnel departments of companies and compares the advantages and disadvantages of various methods of recruiting employees.
