Parking policy possibilities

Abstract:

Předmětem mé bakalářské práce je analýza možností parkovací politiky ve srovnání s městem Brnem. V první kapitole se zaměřuji na problém parkování z hlediska nabídky a poptávky po parkovacím místě z ekonomického pohledu a charakterizuji na základě rešerše literatury možnosti parkovací politiky obecně. Ve druhé kapitole se věnuji třem vybraným typům parkovací politiky, které jsou nejčastějším a nejrozvinutějším typem ve světě, přičemž srovnávám situaci v České republice se situací ve světě. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na detailní analýzu aktuálních parkovacích politik ve městě Brně s jejich dopadem na místní obyvatelstvo a uvedení pozitivních i negativních externalit. V poslední, čtvrté, kapitole provádím analýzu, kdy srovnávám zjištěné poznatky z města Brna s poznatky ze světa a pomocí komparace vyhodnocuji výsledky projektu rezidentního parkování ve městě Brně spolu s uvedením možných řešení.

Abstract:

The goal of my bachelor thesis is to analyze possibilities of parking policy in comparison with Brno. In the first chapter I am focused on problem of parking from the point of view of supply and demand for parking space from the economic view and I define the possibilities of parking policies on the basis of literary research. In the second chapter I apply to three chosen possibilities, which are the most often and expanded in the world and make the comparison examples from the Czech Republic with the world’s one. Third chapter is focused in detail analyses on three chosen parking policies in Brno with impact on the local habitants. In the last, fourth, chapter I do an analyze, when I compare the examples from the world to these from Brno and due to comparison make the evaluation of the resident parking policy in Brno and make some suggestions of solutions.
