Young girls opinions on hormonal contraceptives

Abstract:

ABSTRAKT Cíl: Název práce je "Postoj mladých dívek k hormonální antikoncepci". Jedná se o teoreticko-průzkumnou část a cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda jsou dívky informovány o hormonální antikoncepci, dále pak zjistit jejich názory a zkušenosti s užíváním hormonální antikoncepce. Metodika: Výzkumný soubor tvořilo celkem 100 respondentek. Respondentky tvořily studentky 3. a 4. ročníků Střední zdravotnické školy Frýdek-Místek a Gymnázia a střední odborné školy Cihelní Frýdek-Místek. Dotazníkové šetření bylo prováděno nestandardizovaným dotazníkem. Dotazník tvořilo celkem 20 otázek, na které dívky odpovídaly podle svých zkušeností a možností. Výsledky: Výsledky průzkumu ukázaly, že většina dívek vidí jako nejspolehlivější možnost, jak zabránit nechtěnému těhotenství hormonální antikoncepci. Velká část dívek, přes 80%, také uvedla, že s užíváním hormonální antikoncepce mají dobré zkušenosti a při jejím užívání se cítí bezpečně, tudíž k ní zaujímají pozitivní postoj. Závěr: I když výsledky průzkumu ukázaly u většiny dívek kladný postoj k užívání hormonální antikoncepce, i přesto, spousta mladých dívek, má o hormonální antikoncepci mnohdy zkreslené informace, stejně tak o jejím působení. Proto by se jejich informovanost měla zlepšit, aby se také mohl zlepšit postoj dívek k těmto medikamentům.

Abstract:

ABSTRACT Purpose: The title of this Bachelor thesis is "An attitude of teenage girls to hormonal contraception". It is a theoretic-research part and the approach of this work was to find out whether or not are the teenage girls being familiar with hormonal contraception. Consequently detect their opinions and experience with using the hormonal contraception. Method: The research group was created of 100 respondents. They were students of the third and fourth grade at the Secondary Sanitary School in Frýdek-Místek and Grammar and Vocational School Cihelní in Frýdek-Místek. Questionary research was conducted in unstandardise way. The questionary contained 20 questions, which the girls answered according to their experience and options. Results: Results of the research have shown that the most of the teenage girls think of the hormonal contraception as the most reliable option to not to get pregnant. Big part of the teenage girls also said they have good experience with using the hormonal contraception and it makes them feel safe, so they have positive attitude to it. Conclusion: Although the results of the research have shown a postive stance of young girls, still the big amount of them gain disorted information about the hormonal contraception. Therefore, their knowledge should be improved in addition to enhance their attitude to medikaments.
