Splajny a neparametrické odhady regresní funkce

Nonparametric Regression and Spline Smoothing
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to describe the nonparametric estimates of the regression functions and comparing methods on simulated and real data. First section contains the theoretical basics of kernel estimators and smoothing splines, their asymptotic properties and deals with the selection of smoothing parameter. The next section describes application of methods on simulated and real data.
Abstract:
Cílem diplomové práce je popsat neparametrické odhady regresní funkce a srovnat zkoumané metody na simulovaných a reálných datech. Nejprve jsou uvedeny teoretické poznámky k jádrovým odhadům a vyhlazovacím splajnům, jejich asymptotickým vlastnostem a k problematice výběru vyhlazovacího parametru.
