Práce v úvodu popisuje dle recentních údajů možnou etiologii a vývoj vzácného onemocnění jícnu – achalázie. Jsou probrány současné možnosti diagnostiky a terapie nemoci. V souvislosti s vlastními daty jsou hodnoceny epidemiologické údaje o onemocnění, možnosti diagnostiky a využití moderních vyšetřovacích metod. Abstract:
The theoretical background of the thesis describes etiology and pathogenesis of the esophageal achalasia in view of recent published data. Possibilities of diagnostic and therapeutic tools are discussed. Acquired data from cohort of patients with achalasia are evaluated.
