Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá obdobím labouristických vlád ve Spojeném království v letech 19451951. Druhá světová válka zanechala Británii v troskách. Ačkoli v poválečném světě vystupovala v roli vítěze, utrpěla značné materiální i lidské ztráty a byla ekonomicky zcela vyčerpána. The theme of this bachelor thesis is "Search for a New Beginning - the Development of British Society in the Years 1945-1951". The thesis focuses on the period of two Labour governments led by Prime Minister Clement Attlee in the United Kingdom after World War Two.
