The Comprehensive Socio Economic Analysis of the Karlovy Vary District

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je komplexní socioekonomická analýza okresu Karlovy Vary. První část práce je tvořena úvodem a přehledem literatury, která sloužila jako podkladový materiál k jejímu vypracování. Po té práce pokračuje metodikou dat a zdroji jejich zpracování. Dále je ve stručnosti popsána geografická charakteristika okresu, na níž navazují stěžejní kapitoly celé práce, a to Obyvatelstvo, Ekonomika a Trh práce. V oddíle Obyvatelstvo jsou charakterizovány vývoj a struktura obyvatelstva okresu Karlovy Vary. Kapitola Ekonomika je zaměřena především na strukturu národního hospodářství, stavebnictví a cestovní ruch. Poslední ze stěžejních kapitol zahrnuje strukturu zaměstnanosti a nezaměstnanosti. Následuje specifické zaměření, které se týká historie sklářské a porcelánové výroby v okrese Karlovy Vary. Poslední kapitolou je Závěr, který shrnuje nejpodstatnější výsledky socioekonomických analýz.

Abstract:

The subject of this Bachelor's thesis is The Comprehensive Socio Economic Analysis of the Karlovy Vary District. The first section consists of introduction and the review of literature, which served as the base material for its preparation. After that the thesis continues by methodology and data sources of their proceeding. The next section shortly describes the geographic charakteristice of district, which is followed by the main parts of the thesis Population, Economy and Labor market. In the chapter Population are characterized the development and structure of the population in the Karlovy Vary district. Chapter Economy is mainly focused on the structure of the national economy, construction industry and tourism. The last of the main sections includes the structure of employment and unemployment, which is followed by the specific focus. There is also information about the history of glass and porcelain production in the Karlovy Vary district. The last charter is the Conclusion, which summarizes the most important results of Socio Economic Analysis.
