Visualization of similarity of data in digital library
Abstract:
Cílem práce je ukázat novou možnost procházení digitální knihovny na základě podobnosti článků, a to pomocí navržené webové aplikace MRECviz. Proto práce nejprve shrnuje poznatky o digitálních knihovnách a vizualizacích. Popisuje možnosti webových vizualizací, s důrazem na knihovnu D3.js, která byla pro aplikaci MRECviz použita. Nakonec je popsán návrh, fungování a implementace aplikace MRECviz.
Abstract:
The goal of the thesis is to show new ways of browsing digital library according to similarities of articles, using designed web application MRECviz. Therefore information about digital libraries and visualisations are summarized. The thesis describes opportunities of web visualisation and mentions D3.js, used for programming MRECviz application.
