Songs in textbooks of Russian and Spanish as a foreign language

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se bude zabývat významem písně ve výuce ruského a španělského jazyka. V práci bude zdůrazněn význam písně jako motivačního prvku a budou zkoumány možnosti práce s ní v běžně dostupných učebnicích pro druhý stupeň základní školy a příslušných ročníků vícetelých gymnázií a v učebnicích pro střední školy. Teoretická část práce vymezí základní pojmy související s daným tématem v širším okruhu, tedy jak pojmy hudební tak obecně didaktické. Obsahem praktické části bude analýza vybraných jazykových učebnic z hlediska zastoupení písní a zkoumání konkrétních možností práce s nimi ve výuce cizích jazyků. Cílem práce bude poukázat na význam písně jako didaktického prostředku ve výuce a zjistit, jak se k tomuto způsobu osvojování cizího jazyka staví autoři současných učebnic.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s degree dissertation is going to focus on the opportunities how to work with songs when teaching foreign languages, namely the russian and spanish language. In that dissertation a song as a motivating element is going to be emphasized, the ways of the application of a song on base of commonly used textbooks for the second stage of primary schools and multi-annual grammar schools. The theoretical part is going to define the basic terms related to the topic in a wider radius, that means not only musical terms, but also generally didactical ones. This part is going to be devided into chapters. Those will be aimed at the goals of the foreign languages education, at the characteristics of a song and its contribution to the teaching process of a foreign language. In the practical part we are going to investigate the specific selected textbooks of the russian and spanish language. The goal of this dissertation is to justify the importance of a song used as a didactic tool and to find out what attitude to this method of learning of foreign language is adopted by contemporary authors of textbooks.
