Working with fractions in the primary mathematics classes

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je porovnat dvě metody výuky zlomků na prvním stupni základní školy, metodu profesora Hejného a metodu klasických učebnicových řad. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část se věnuje metodám výuky zlomků na prvním stupni základní školy, seznamuje nás se základními pojmy souvisejícími s racionálními čísly a zlomky. Praktická část srovnává četnost a typy úloh se zlomky v učebnicích pro první stupeň základní školy nakladatelství Fraus a jiných nakladatelství.

Abstract:

The main aim of this thesis is to compare the two methods of teaching fractions at the lower primary school, the method of professor Hejny and the methods of classic mathematic textbooks. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the methods of teaching fractions at the lower primary school, familiarizes us with basic terms concerning rational numbers and fracitons. The practical part compares the frequency and types of tasks in textbooks for the lower primary schools from the Publisher Fraus and from other publishers.
