Knowledge of mothers about right nutrition of infants and toddlers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá znalostmi matek o správné výživě kojenců o batolat. Teoretická část shrnuje základní poznatky o výživě novorozenců, kojenců a batolat. Popisuje základní výživová doporučení a informuje o důležitosti jednotlivých složek potravin pro daná věková období dítěte. Analyzuje důležitost kojení a složení mateřského mléka. Zabývá se také rozdíly ve složení mateřského mléka a mléka umělé výživy. V neposlední řadě také shrnuje základní výživová doporučení pro těhotné ženy.V praktické části bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření zaměřené na těhotné ženy a matky novorozenců, kojenců a batolat. Jsou zde shrnuty metody použité pro dotazníkové šetření a je zde také charakterizován popis zkoumaného souboru žen. Dále jsou zde analyzovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které bylo změřeno na znalosti o výživě dětí a jejich použití v praxi u matek novorozenců, kojenců a batolat. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření u těhotných žen jsou pro velký objem dat uvedeny v příloze.V závěrečné části jsou poté shrnuta zjištění, týkající se výživy kojenců a batolat. Závěrečná data jsou také porovnávána s výsledky dotazníkového šetření u těhotných žen.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with knowledge of mothers about proper nutrition for infants and toddlers. The theoretical part summarizes basic knowledge about nutrition for newborns, infants and toddlers. It describes basic nutritional recommendations and inform about the importance of food ingredients for individual age-term child. Analyzes the importance of breastfeeding and the structure of breast milk. It also discusses the differences in the structure of milk and milk of artificial feeding. Finally, it summarizes the basic nutritional recommendations for pregnant women. In the practical part, a questionnaire survey was aimed at pregnant women and mothers of newborns, infants and toddlers. It summarizes the methods used for the survey and is also characterized by a description of the investigated group of women. There are also analyzed the results of a survey which was measured at a knowledge about nutrition for children and their use in practice for mothers of newborns, infants and toddlers. Results of a questionnaire survey among pregnant women are for too large volume of data placed in the attachment. The final chapter summarizes the detection on nutrition of infants and toddlers. Final data are compared with the results of a survey among pregnant women.
