Abstract:

Obsahem disertační práce je detailní popis a rozbor fenoménu euroskepticismu, zvláště pak jeho stranických projevů. Práce tak má dvě základní složky: deskriptivní a analytickou. Deskriptivní část práce je do značné míry stěžejní a pro vytvoření pozdější analýzy je nezbytná. Obsahem popisné a revidující části je zachycení vývoje euroskepticismu v zemích EU, popis jeho zdrojů a projevů. Nutnou součástí disertační práce je také deskripce stranického euroskepticismu, respektive dosavadních typologiií stranického euroskepticismu. Z tohoto hlediska je primárním cílem disertační práce přesné a jasné vymezení stranického euroskepticismu. Analytická část práce je přímo napojena na deskripci. Základem analýzy je hypotéza disertační práce. Je jí tvrzení, že dosavadní dělení euroskepticismu na měkký a tvrdý, což je nejběžnější a vědecky nejakceptovanější způsob nakládání s euroskepticismem, nepředstavuje zachycení dvou stupňů jednoho fenoménu, ale dva odlišně motivované a odlišně se projevující postoje. Měkký euroskepticismus nepředstavuje předstupeň tvrdého euroskepticismu. Konsekventně, postoje stran, které jsou klasifikovány jako měkce euroskeptické, nejsou euroskeptické, ale spíše akcentují jinou podobu či odlišné tempo integračního procesu. Důsledkem této hypotézy bylo vytvoření alternativní typologie euroskepticismu, což je další cíl disertační práce.

Abstract:

The doctoral thesis describes and analyses the phenomenon of euroscepticism, particularly its partisan manifestations. The paper thus has two basic parts: descriptive and analytic. The descriptive part is to a major extent fundamental and essential for the latter analysis. It portraits the development of euroscepticism in the EU countries, it lists its sources and demonstrations. Necessary part of the thesis is the depiction of partisan euroscepticism, more precisely its existing typologies. From this point of view, the thesis aims to specify precisely and clearly partisan euroscepticism. The analytic part is directly joined to the descriptive part. Its principle is the hypothesis, which assumes that present division of euroscepticism to soft and hard, which is the most common and generally accepted view of euroscepticism among academics, does not reflect two levels of a single phenomenon, but rather two distinctively motivated and demonstrated standpoints. Soft euroscepticism is not a pre-stage to hard euroscepticism. Consequently, the attitudes of parties, deemed as softly eurosceptic, are not eurosceptic, alas they stress another form or different pace of the integration process. The result of this hypothesis was the creation of alternative typology of euroscepticism, which is another goal of this thesis.
