Low-frequency electrical stimulation in patients with chronic heart failure
Abstract:
Cílem této diplomové práce bylo posoudit vliv nízkofrekvenční elektrostimulace (NFES) svalstva dolních končetin na variabilitu srdeční frekvence (VSF) a kvalitu života u pacientů s chronickým srdečním selháním (CHSS). Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 9 pacientů funkční třídy NYHA III a IV. Po dobu 8 týdnů byla prováděna 2krát denně NFES extenzorů obou DK. Po ukončení studie bylo zjištěno statisticky významné …more
Abstract:
The aim of the study was to evaluate an influence of a low-frequency electrical stimulation (LFES) on heart rate variability (HRV)and quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). HRV parameters were measured in nine patients before and after 8 weeks of LFES.
