Abstract:

Ergoterapie je nepostradatelnou součástí komplexní rehabilitace. Klienti s míšní lézí se s ergoterapií setkávají od samého začátku rehabilitace. Cílem ergoterapie je v tomto případě nejen dosažení maximální soběstačnosti, ale také duševní pohody, srovnání se s postižením, smysluplné náplni každého dne a samozřejmě co nejvyšší kvality života. Tato bakalářská práce se soustředí na problematiku míšní léze a na možnosti rehabilitace se zaměřením na ergoterapii. Cílem práce je seznámit odbornou i laickou veřejnost s problematikou míšní léze a poukázat na možnosti rehabilitace s konkretizací na ergoterapii. Záměrem hlavní části je vypracování kasuistiky u konkrétního klienta se spastickou kvadruplegií a seznámení čtenáře s možnostmi ergoterapie u konkrétního klienta s míšní lézí. Na základě strukturovaného i nestrukturovaného rozhovoru, pozorování a testování klienta bylo potřeba určit ergoterapeutické cíle, krátkodobý a dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán u klienta se spastickou kvadruplegií, zaměřené, především dle přání klienta, na soběstačnost a poradenství v oblasti kompenzačních pomůcek. Výsledky byly zhotoveny na základě porovnání vstupního a výstupního ergoterapeutického hodnocení, testů a na základě pozorování klienta. Součástí výsledků je též zhodnocení ergoterapeutické intervence. Diskuze je zpracována na základě poznatků získaných rešerší a na základě vlastního pozorování a poznání z práce s klientem. Jedná se o zamyšlení nad některými otázkami ve spojitosti s problematikou míšní léze. Závěrem je zhodnocení cílů a úkolů bakalářské práce, včetně jejího přínosu pro obor ergoterapie.

Abstract:

Occupational therapy is an indispensable part of a complex rehabilitation practice. Clients with spinal lesion undergo occupational therapy from the very beginning of their rehabilitation process. The aim of occupational therapy is, in this case, not only achieving maximum possible self-sufficiency, but also mental well-being, coping with disability, meaningful day-to-day life and, certainly, achieving the highest possible quality of life. This bachelor thesis focuses on issues related to spinal lesion and on the possibilities of rehabilitation with the focus on occupational therapy. The aim of this thesis is to acquaint the professional and general public with the issues related to spinal lesion and to show the possibilities of rehabilitation with the focus on occupational therapy. The aim of the main part is to develop a case study of a specific client with spastic quadriplegia and to acquaint readers with possibilities of occupational therapy for a specific client with spinal lesion. On the basis of structured as well as unstructured interview, observation and examination of the client, it was needed to classify the aims of occupational therapy and short term and long term therapeutic plan for the client with spastic quadriplegia. According to the client's wishes, the aims were focused mainly on self-sufficiency and counseling in the area of compensatory aids. The results were made on the basis of comparison of initial and final occupational therapy evaluations, tests and observation of the client. The results also include an evaluation of therapeutic intervention. The discussion is based on findings from researched materials, observation and insight from working with the client. the aim is to reflect on some questions concerning issues of spinal lesion. The conclusion is an evaluation of the aims and goals of the bachelor thesis including the contribution of the thesis to the field of occupational therapy.
