Important personalities in orthoptics

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o významných osobnostech v oboru ortoptika. Zmiňuje autory diagnostických a léčebných metod, jak těch konzervativních, tak těch chirurgických. Dále je zaměřena na vynálezce přístrojů a pomůcek, které se používaly nebo stále používají pro pleopticko-ortoptickou léčbu. Všichni autoři jsou seřazeni v časovém sledu od starověku do novověku. Jednotlivé kapitoly obsahují i historický kontext doby, ve které dané osobnosti působily. Na konci práce je přiložena shrnující časová osa, na které jsou umístěné všechny osobnosti z této práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis discusses significant personalities in the field of orthoptics. The thesis mentions the authors of diagnostic and treatment methods, both conservative and surgical. It is also aimed at the inventors of devices and aids that are used or are still used for pleoptic-orthoptic treatment. All authors are listed in chronological or-der from antiquity to modern times. Individual chapters also contain the historical context of the time in which the personalities were active. At the end of the thesis is attached a summary timeline on which all the personalities from this thesis are placed.
