Specifics of Ernestina's role in A. Salieri's opera La scuola dei gelosi

Abstract:

Diplomová práce přináší ucelený pohled na interpretaci role Ernestiny v opeře Škola žárlivých od Antonia Salieriho. Pojednává o okolnostech vzniku opery, rozebírá specifika Ernestininy interpretace, zabývá se vývojem postavy v průběhu děje a nastiňuje vztahové roviny postav. Obsahuje poznatky autorky z pohledu interpretačního a také z procesu nastudování. Zaměřuje se na inscenaci v Národním divadle moravskoslezském v roce 2020.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is aimed at overall view on the interpretation of the part of Ernestina in Antonio Salieri´s La scuola de´ gelosi. It deals with the circumstances around the process of writing of this opera, specific issues in Ernestina´s interpretation, character´s evolution throughout the plot and also with the relations among the characters. It contains author´s view on the interpretation and also on studying of the part of Ernestina. It aims at the production at The National Moravian-Silesian theatre in 2020.
