Communication of Parents with Educators at Montessori Schools

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zkušeností rodičů s komunikací s pedagogy z montessori škol. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Cílem teoretické části práce je popsat problematiku oblastí, které souvisí s praktickou části práce a poskytnout základní teoretický přehled týkající se montessori škol, komunikace mezi pedagogy a rodiči a rodičů, kteří si pro své děti vybírají alternativní školy. Cílem praktické části je popsat, jaké jsou zkušenosti rodičů, jejichž děti navštěvují montessori školy s komunikací s pedagogy z montessori škol a jaké jsou problémy, které se v komunikaci vyskytly z pohledu rodičů. Účastníky výzkumu jsou rodiče dětí z montessori mateřských a základních škol Moravskoslezského a Olomouckého kraje. Data pro výzkum byla získána prostřednictvím rozhovoru s rodiči dětí z montessori škol. Analýza dat je provedena na základě první části zakotvené teorie. Data byla dále rozebrána a jejich prostřednictvím byly zodpovězeny výzkumné otázky.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of parents' experiences with communication with teachers from Montessori schools. The thesis is divided into two parts. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to describe the issue areas that are related to the practical part of the thesis and to provide a basic theoretical overview concerning Montessori schools, communication between teachers and parents and parents who choose alternative schools for their children. The aim of the practical part is to describe the experiences of parents whose children attend Montessori schools with communication with teachers from Montessori schools and what are the problems encountered in communication from the parents' point of view. The participants of this research are parents of children from Montessori kindergartens and primary schools in the Moravian-Silesian and Olomouc regions. The data for the research was obtained through interviews with parents of children from Montessori schools. The data analysis is carried out on the basis of the first part of the grounded theory. The data was further analyzed and the research questions were answered through the data.
