Analysis of teaching of website creation in pre-gradual training of informatics teachers

Abstract:

Cílem disertační práce bylo zjistit, zda volba výukové metody ve výuce tvorby www stránek může ovlivnit znalosti studentů. Zvoleny byly metody názorně-demonstrační a praktická.Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením základních pojmů z oblasti vzdělávání a oblasti týkající se tvorby www stránek. Rešerše zahraničních výzkumných prací mapuje výuku tvorby www stránek v zahraničí. Další část je věnována výuce tvorby www stránek na středních školách v České republice.V následující části jsou uvedeny výsledky výzkumu stavu výuky tvorby www stránek na vysokých školách vzdělávající učitele informatiky. Výzkum vlivu volby výukové metody byl realizován pomocí smíšeného výzkumu. Výchozím byl zvolen kvantitativní výzkum, následně byl použit kvalitativní výzkum. Zastřešující metodou byla případová studie. Výzkumnou metodou kvantitativního výzkumu byl pedagogický experiment. Kvalitativní část byla realizována rozhovory se studenty a komparace semestrálních prací.Z výsledků výzkumu vyplynulo, že volba výukové metody může ovlivnit znalosti studentů. Z rozhovorů vyplynulo, že studenti byli s výukou realizovanou metodami názorně-demonstrační a praktické spokojeni.

Abstract:

The aim of the dissertation thesis was to find out whether the choice of the method of teaching how to create websites can have an impact on the students´ knowledge. The method of illustrative demonstration and the practical method were applied. The theoretical part defines the fundamental terms of the spheres of education and website creation. The research into foreign research texts has revealed how the creation of websites is taught abroad. The following part focuses on ways in which the website creation is taught at secondary schools in the Czech Republic.The following part presents the results of the research into the current state of teaching of the website creation at universities and colleges training informatics teachers. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were applied when carrying out the research into the potential impact of the choice of the teaching method. Quantitative research was chosen as the starting point; a pedagogical experiment was its research method. Qualitative research was carried out followingly; interviews with students and comparative analyses of students´ essays were realized within its framework. A case study was chosen as the umbrella method.The research results show that the choice of the teaching method can have an impact on the students´ knowledge. When interviewed, the students expressed their positive opinions on the practical method and the method of illustrative demonstration which had been applied in the teaching process.
