Cílem autora je popis hrubě motorických funkcí u dětí a adolescentů s DMO, popis jemně motorických funkcí a nezávislosti v aktivitách denního života. Zabývá se také hodnocením závislosti mezi hrubě motorickými funkcemi a jemnou motorikou a hrubě motorickými funkcemi a běžnými denními činnostmi.
