The overarching objectives include unraveling consumer perspectives on electric mobility, scrutinizing socioeconomic influences on adoption patterns, and assessing the impact of governmental policies and charging infrastructure. Additionally, the study seeks to dissect the environmental and economic implications of electric vehicle adoption, identifying barriers and opportunities unique to the Ghanaian context. Through this multifaceted analysis, the thesis aspires to not only contribute nuanced insights into the dynamics of electric vehicle adoption in the region but also provide actionable recommendations for policymakers and industry stakeholders invested in fostering sustainable and eco-friendly transportation solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa.
