Abstract:
This diploma thesis examines the use and treatment of motifs of nature in selected dystopian novels, namely in Fahrenheit 451 (1953) by Ray Bradbury, William Golding's Lord of the Flies (1954), Brave New World (1932) by Aldous Huxley and George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949).
