Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce „Rating a proces jeho stanovení“ je zhodnotit a porovnat metodiky ratingových agentur Moody’s a Standard & Poor’s pro stanovení dlouhodobého mezinárodního ratingu společností z odvětví služeb. První kapitola se věnuje teoretickým aspektům ratingu s ohledem na jejich třídění, význam, historický kontext, současnou situaci a regulaci ratingových agentur. V druhé části této práce jsou popsány a porovnány výše zmíněné metodiky pro stanovení ratingu. K naplnění cílů jsou využity metody analýzy, komparace a dedukce.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis „Rating and its process“ is to asses and compare rating methodologies of rating agencies Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s for assigning global long-term rating to companies from the consumer and business services industry. The first chapter deals with theoretical aspects of rating with focus on its classification, importance, historical context, current situation and regulation of rating agencies. In the second part of this thesis are described and compared the methodologies, which were mentioned above, for assigning rating. Methods of analysis, comparison and deduction are used to fulfil the objectives.
