The effect of cytokinin metabolism on the architecture of the root system
Abstract:
Kořenový systém je pro rostlinu klíčový, slouží k příjmu vody a v ní rozpuštěných látek. Liší se u jednotlivých rostlinných druhů v závislosti na genetických a environmentálních vlivech. Hlavními regulátory architektury kořenového systému jsou auxiny a cytokininy, které svým vzájemným poměrem předurčují rostlinu k určitému fenotypovému projevu.
Abstract:
Root system is crucial for the plant, it´s used to receive water and substances dissolved in it. It differs from each plant species depending on genetic and environmental conditions. The main regulators of root system architecture are auxins and cytokinins. The ratio between them predispose the phenotype of the plant.
