Abstract:
This diploma thesis investigates the distribution, prevalence and diversity of the crayfish plague pathogen, Aphanomyces astaci, in the native range of this oomycete. We screened populations of its hosts, North American crayfish species (both native and locally invasive) in Pennsylvania, eastern USA.
