Barack Obama and the First Year of his Presidency: Analysis of Media and Other Publications

Abstract:

The thesis analyzes US president Barack Obama's attitudes, quotations and describes his image in the US newspapers. Analyzed newspaper articles concern two of the most important issues, which Obama had to deal with since has been elected in the office. These are wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and ecological disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.

Abstract:

Práce analyzuje postoje a výroky amerického prezidenta Baracka Obamy a popisuje jeho obraz v amerických médiích. Analyzované novinové články se týkají dvou nejvýznamnějších otázek, které musel Obama řešit od nástupu do funkce, a jsou to války v Afghánistánu a Iráku a ropná havárie v Mexickém zálivu.
