Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá jazykovým vzděláváním dospělých. Tato práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část obsahuje informace týkající se učení a vyučování cizímu jazyku všeobecně, popisuje nejběžnější metody výuky, nejčastější chyby, kterých se učitelé jazyků dopouštějí a tipy jak se jim vyhnout. Praktická část obsahuje popis experimentu a dotazníkového šetření, které z experimentu vychází. Cílem této práce je snaha poukázat na fakt, že pokud učitelé jazyků budou při plánování a tvorbě jednotlivých jazykových hodin vycházet z faktických požadavků daného klienta, bude jejich práce efektivnější a přínosnější jak pro studenta samotného, tak i pro ně.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with teaching languages to adults. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is concerned with language learning and teaching in general. There are described the most common methods of teaching languages, common mistakes teachers make when teaching and ideas how to avoid them. The practical part consists of descriptions of an experiment and a survey following the experiment. The aim of the thesis is to point to the fact that if the language teachers pattern on the requirements of the client when planning their lessons, their work will be much more effective and beneficial both for the client and for themselves.
