Privatization of Security in International Relations - Causes, Consequences, Challanges
Abstract:
Na konci 20. století došlo k obrovskému boomu tzv. soukromých bezpečnostních společností. Tyto společnosti svou činností narušují tradiční chápání států jako exkluzivních aktérů na poli mezinárodní bezpečnosti. Hovoří se tak o privatizaci bezpečnosti. Tato práce analyzuje příčiny tohoto vývoje, daále se zabývá jeho důsledky pro mezinárodní systém a nabízí přehled výzev.
Abstract:
At the end of the 20th century there was a boom of so called Private Security Companies. The activity of these companies disrupts the conventional understanding of states as the exclusive actors in the field of international security. We can speak about privatization of security.
