V projekte sa zaoberám subjektivitou a jej dopadom na vonkajšiu formu prozaických diel To the Lighthouse (1927) a The Waves (1931) od Virginie Woolf a The Bell Jar (1963) od Sylvie Plath. Snažím sa zadefinovať tento pojem napriek rozličným prístupom v iných odvetvich a poukázať na jeho prítomnosť v textoch oboch autoriek. In this dissertation, I focus on the subjectivity and its form of representation in the prose works of Virginia Woolf and Sylvia Plath, namely To the Lighthouse (1927), The Waves (1931) and The Bell Jar (1963). I try to define this concept in spite of varying approaches in different fields and consider its presence significant in the texts of both authors. I also deal with the terms such as identity …more
