Effects of Statin Therapy on Quantity of Epicardial Adipose Tissue in Patients with Cardiovascular Disease
Abstract:
Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit efekt intenzivní krátkodobé statinové terapie na množství epikardiální tukové tkáně u pacientů s fibrilací síní. Mezi vedlejší cíle patřilo ověřit prediktivní hodnotu množství epikardiální tukové tkáně na rekurenci fibirlace síní po radiofrekveční ablaci a vztah mezi množstvím epikardiální tukové tkáně a ostatními rizikovými faktory kardiovaskulárních onemocnění.
Abstract:
The main objective of this work was to investigate the effect of intensive short-term statin therapy on epicardial adipose tissue in patients with atrial fibrillation.
