Genitive - accusative sg. in animal names in Old Czech

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá výskytem tvaru genitivu-akuzativu sg. u jmen zvířat ve staré češtině. Součástí práce je teoretická část, která je zaměřena na vznik a podobu některých staročeských typů jmenné deklinace. V rámci vývoje jmenné deklinace ve staré češtině je další část věnována vývoji tvaru genitivu-akuzativu, se kterým je spojen vznik prosazování principu životnosti a neživotnosti. K dispozici je také srovnání výkladů o prosazení genitivu-akuzativu u živočišných jmen v odborné literatuře. Hlavní část této práce je obsažena v analytické části, ve které je na základě excerpce materiálu ze staročeské lístkové kartotéky uložené v oddělení vývoje jazyka UJČ AV ČR provedena analýza u vybraného okruhu živočišných jmen. U vyexcerpovaných dokladů se zkoumá četnost výskytu tvaru akuzativu (starého akuzativu a genitivu-akuzativu), datace nejstaršího a nejmladšího prvního dokladu tvaru genitivu-akuzativu a žánrová charakteristika památek tří nejstarších dokladů genitivu-akuzativu.

Abstract:

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the appearance of genitive - accusative form of animal names in the Old Czech. One part of my thesis is a theoretical part, which focuses on a creation and form of some types of the Old Czech declension. Another part of my thesis is devoted to the development of genitive accusative form of noun declension, which is part of the development of the noun declension in the Old Czech, and its connection with the enforcing of životnost and neživotnost. Comparison of interpretations of the advancement of the genitive-accusative case of animal names in specialised literature is also available. The main part of this thesis is in the analytic part in which I analyzed certain animal names based on the excerption of materials from the old Czech card index cabinet stored in the department of language development UJČ AV ČR. Excerpted documents are studied from the count of appearance of the accusative form (old accusative and genitive accusative), date of the oldest and the youngest first prove of the genitive accusative form and genre characterization of the relics of the 3 oldest documentation of the genitive accusative.
