Family language environment in municipalities in the Hlučín region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o rodinném jazykovém prostředí v obcích na Hlučínsku, konkrétně o vlivu nejstarší generace na mluvu generace nejmladší. V teoretické části se zabývá vymezením regionu Hlučínsko, definováním hranic, společenskou situací a historickou situací. Věnuje se zde také rozmanitému jazykovému vývoji na slezském území a útvarům českého národního jazyka. V teoretické části práce je obsažen popis nářečních skupin, zejména nářeční podskupiny západní neboli opavské spadající pod skupinu slezských nářečí. Praktická část práce odhaluje pomocí rozhovorů jevy vyskytující se vlivem nářečí či jiných útvarů národního jazyka v promluvách rodin žijících na Hlučínsku. Analyzuje, do jaké míry prostředí, ve kterém dítě vyrůstá, ovlivňuje používání dialektu v řeči a hodnotí, zda děti vyrůstající ve vícegeneračním bydlení užívají v řeči více odchylek v oblasti zvukové, tvaroslovné a slovní zásoby oproti spisovné češtině. Výzkum byl realizován na základě rozhovorů s devíti rodinami tvořenými různými generacemi. Tento průzkum je doplněn rozhovory s třemi učiteli českého jazyka, které nás informují o výuce témat týkajících se útvarů českého národního jazyka na základních školách v oblasti Hlučínska. Výsledky průzkumu jsou shrnuty v závěrečných podkapitolách praktické části.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the family language environment in municipalities in the Hlučín region, specifically the influence of the oldest generation on the language of the youngest generation. In the theoretical part deals with the definition of the Hlučín region, the definition of borders, the social situation and the historical situacion. This thesis also focuses with language developments in the Silesian territory and departments of the Czech national language. The theoretical part of the thesis contains of dialect groups, especially dialect used in the Hlučín area falling under the group of Silesian dialects. The practical part of the work reveals though interviews the phenomena in the speeches of families in the Hlučín region occurring due to dialect or other units of national language. It analyzes the extent to which the environment in which a child grows up affects the use of dialect in speech and evaluates whether children growing up in a multi-generational house use more variations in sound, morphology and vocabulary in their speech as opposed to the standard Czech. This research conducted interview with 9 families with the representatives of different generations. This survey is supplemented by interviews with three Czech language teachers, who informed us about the teaching of topics related to the Czech national language units at primary schools in the Hlučín region. The results of the survey are summarized in the final subchapters of the practical part.
