Tato bakalářská práce vysvětluje a popisuje důvody úmyslného či neúmyslného "lhaní" tvůrců map. V první kapitole přibližuje základní kartografické pojmy a nejdůležitější mapové prvky. V druhé kapitole je popsána stručná historie map včetně první samostatné mapy Čech. Třetí kapitola vysvětluje příčiny vzniku chyb na mapách. Bachelor`s thesis describes the reasons for deliberate or indeliberate "lying" of mapmakers. The basic cartographic terms and important symbols of maps are explained in the first chapter. In the second chapter are described history of maps and details of the first Czech map. In the third chapter are explained causes of mistakes in maps.
