Neonatal Withdrawl Syndrome

Abstract:

Novorozenecký abstinenční syndrom, je syndrom, ke kterému dochází u novorozenců drogově závislých matek. Tyto ženy užívají v průběhu gravidity návykové látky, které jsou škodlivé pro jejich organismus ale i pro nenarozené miminko. Důležitým krokem ke správné terapii je odebrání anamnestických údajů, správné vyhodnocení zdravotního stavu matky i dítěte a zahájení následné terapie. Volbou správné terapie to ale nekončí a po propuštění z nemocnice je rodina sledována sociální pracovnicí, která má dohlížet že se o dítě rodina řádně stará a je mu dopřávaná dostatečná péče. Teoretická část této bakalářské práce pojednává obecně o rozdělení jednotlivých skupin návykových látek a jejich účincích na plod a dítě, dále o vysvětlení pojmu novorozenecký abstinenční syndrom, způsoby jeho léčby a v neposlední řadě o období těhotenství a sociálním dopadu na jedince. Část praktická je tvořena formou kazuistik. Jedním z hlavních cílů je zjištění teoretických podkladů u abstinenčního syndromu novorozence, vytvoření kazuistik a tvorba edukačně-informačního materiálu.

Abstract:

Neonatal abstinence syndrome is a syndrome that occurs in newborns of drug-dependent mothers. These women use illegal subsrances, throughout the duration of their pregnancy, which are harmful to their bodies but also to the unborn baby. An important step is the correct collection of anamnestic data, the correct evaluation of the the health status of the mother and child, and the inititation of subsequent therapy. However, the choice of the right therapy is only the beginning, after discharge from the hospital, the family is monito-red by a social worker, who is to supervise that the family takes appropriate and sufficient care of the child. The theoretical part deals in general with the division of indicidual groups of addictive sub-stances and their effect on the fetus and child, as well as with the eplanation of the therm neonatal abstinence syndrome, methods of its treatment and last but not least the period of pregnancy and its social impact on the individual. The practical part of this thesis consist of case studies. One of the main goal is to find the theoretical basis for the neonatal abstinence syndrome, the creation of case reports and the creation of educational and informative materiál.
