Rakovina je závažným zdravotním problémem, který dodnes nemá žádné spolehlivé řešení. Nedávno objevený systém zvaný CRISRP (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats)/Cas, současně pomáhá osvětlit mechanismy této složité nemoci a nabízí nové způsoby pro výzkum jevů a procesů spojených se vznikem a vývojem rakoviny.
