Optimalization of organizational performance through increase of business agility

Abstract:

Diplomová práce si dává za cíl optimalizaci podnikové výkonnosti skrze návrh strategického modelu řízení výkonnosti podniku. Práce v literární rešerši představuje vývoj pohledu na měření výkonnosti podniku od ryze finančních ukazatelů výkonnost podniku až po systémy nefinančních ukazatelů. Blíže jsou představeny dvě rozdílné metody, a to centralizovaný model Balanced Scorecard a decentralizovaný Objectives and Key Result, lišící se zejména ve své dynamice a pohledu na strategii a její implementaci. Na základě smíšeného dotazníkového šetření mezi zaměstnanci a zákazníky organizace byla pro účely konkrétního podniku zvolena syntéza obou modelů obohacena o prvky business agility. Adaptace business agility pomůže podniku k reflektování externích změn, kterými je současný svět logistiky prostoupen, ale i interních změn v souvislosti s fúzí podniku.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis aims to optimize business performance through the design of a strategic model of business performance management. The thesis in the literature research presents the development of a view on measuring the company's performance from purely financial indicators of the company's performance to systems of non-financial indicators. Two different methods are presented in detail, namely the centralized Balanced Scorecard model and the decentralized Objectives and Key Result, which differ mainly in their dynamics and view of the strategy and its implementation. Based on a mixed questionnaire survey among the organization's employees and customers, a synthesis of both models enriched with elements of business agility was chosen for the purposes of a specific company. The adaptation of business agility will help the company to reflect on the external changes that permeate the current world of logistics, as well as internal changes in connection with the merger.
