Digital storytelling in fire prevention

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na moderní formu vyprávění příběhů, která kombinuje tradiční vyprávění s digitálními technologiemi. V úvodní části práce je popsána historie digitálního vyprávění a jsou zde analyzovány jeho současné formy včetně výhod a nevýhod. Dále se úvodní část věnuje využití digitálního vyprávění a ICT ve vzdělávání, se zdůrazněným pozitivním dopadem na efektivitu učení a motivaci žáků. Závěrečná část práce začíná stručnou historií a vývojem požární prevence a mapuje současné formy digitálního vyprávění využívané v této oblasti. Hlavním cílem celé diplomové práce, kterému je věnována většina závěrečné části, je vytvoření vzdělávacího projektu pro žáky základních škol, kde žáci pracují na digitálním vyprávění s hasičskou tématikou formou stop-motion animace. Projekt je navržen tak, aby byl univerzálně použitelný po celé České republice a jeho výsledky mohly sloužit jako oficiální materiály pro preventivně výchovnou činnost Hasičského záchranného sboru ČR.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on a modern form of storytelling that combines traditional storytelling with digital technologies. The introductory part of the thesis describes the history of digital storytelling and analyses its current forms, including advantages and disadvantages. Next, the introductory section explores the use of digital storytelling and ICT in education, highlighting the positive impact on learning effectiveness and student motivation. The final part of the thesis begins with a brief history and development of fire prevention and maps the current forms of digital storytelling used in this area. The main goal of the whole thesis, to which most of the final part is dedicated, is to create an educational project for primary school pupils, where pupils work on a digital narrative with firefighting themes in the form of stop-motion animation. The project is designed to be universally applicable throughout the Czech Republic and its results could serve as official materials for the preventive and educational activities of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic.
