Souhrn: Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou komunikace pacientů na ventilátoru, kdy je narušena jejich komunikační schopnost a v podstatě jsou odkázáni na neverbální komunikaci. V teoretické části práce jsou uvedeny formy komunikace, se zaměřením na verbální a neverbální komunikaci. Dále jsou prezentovány metody alternativní a augmentativní komunikace. V praktické části jsou zjišťovány znalosti zdravotnických pracovníků v oblasti komunikace s ventilovaným nemocným na dvou pracovištích ARO ve fakultních nemocnicích v Brně.

Summary: The bachelor thesis deals with communication among the nurses and ventilated patients with limited communication capability. Those are entirely dependent on nonverbal communication. Theoretical part of the bachelor work deals with the types of communication with a view to verbal and nonverbal communication the same way as with alternative and augmentative methods of the communication. Knowledges of the general nurses in the field of communication with ventilated patients are determinated at the practical part of bachelor work. There are determinated knowledges of the general nurses in the field of the communication among the nurses and ventilated patients in the empirical part of bachelor thesis.
