A chair for a Musician at the Prototype Stage

Abstract:

V diplomové práci autorka navazuje na svou předchozí bakalářskou práci a zdokonaluje dříve vyrobený funkční model židle pro konkrétního hudebníka. Ta je určena pro hru na banjo a podobné nástroje. Aktuální práce se zaměřuje na odstranění nedostatků, které se u funkčního modelu židle objevily, a zároveň se podrobně zabývá technickým řešením. Výstupem této práce je příprava výroby, výrobní dokumentace a vyrobený prototyp. Základní vzhled židle byl ponechán – tedy konstrukce ve tvaru písmene X, kterou je možné složit a pohodlně tak přepravovat. Tato práce se zaměřuje i na vylepšení detailů a sjednocení vzhledu celé židle. Výsledkem je skládací židle vytvořena primárně z bukových lamel a překližky.

Abstract:

In this diploma thesis the author follows up on her previous bachelor thesis and makes improvement of earlier functional model of a chair for particular musician. It was intended for banjo and similar instruments playing. The aim of this thesis is to eliminate some problems, which appeared at the functionel model, and to solve the technical part of the production. The output of this thesis are materials for serial production. The basic design of the letter X is still the same. It is possible to fold the chair and transport it like that. The aim of this work is also to improve details of the chair and unite it´s design. The result of this thesis is the foldable chair made primarily of beech veneer materials.
