Collocation of verbs and nouns used in recipes

Abstract:

In this thesis, we are concerned with collocation of verbs and nouns used in recipes and analyse a corpus of French recipes. First of all, we generally focus on collocations. The principal theme of the theoretical part is an analysis of characteristics where we concetrate on the aspects that play an important role in the recognition of individual collocations. The individual dimensions (syntagmatic, lexical, etc.) are the components of the above-mentionned subject which we examine in detail in this thesis. In the practical part, we form the corpus of simple French recipes that we select from the books of the world-famous cooks such as Michel Oliver, Alain Ducasse, etc. After that, we evaluate how verbs and nouns are represented at the role of the object. Finally, we sum up the different collocation of verbs and nouns, we form tables and graphs of examined collocations.

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se budeme věnovat kolokacím sloves a podstatných jmen v receptech a rozebírat korpus jednotlivých francouzských receptů. Nejdříve se obecně zaměříme na kolokace. Stěžejním tématem v teoretické části je analýza vlastností, kde se budeme soustředit na aspekty, které hrají důležitou roli v rozpoznání jednotlivých kolokací. Nedílnou součástí výše uvedeného tématu jsou jednotlivé dimenze (syntagmatická, lexikální atd.), které budeme v této práci podrobně zkoumat. V praktické části sestavíme korpus jednoduchých francouzských receptů, které budeme čerpat z knih celosvětově známých kuchařů jako je například Michel Oliver, Alain Ducasse, atd. Poté vyhodnotíme, jak jsou zastoupená jednotlivá slovesa a podstatná jména v roli předmětu. Na závěr shrneme jednotlivé kolokace sloves a podstatných jmen, sestavíme tabulky a grafy těchto kolokacích.
