Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se dotýká problematiky obezity a podvýživy u seniorů. Zabývá se jejich životosprávou a nutričním stavem. U obou problémů je zmíněná nejprve lékařská stránka, poté je řešena i ošetřovatelská. V závěru teoretické části se lze dočíst o zásadách výživy seniorů a nové možnosti podání stravy pacientům. V empirické části je čtenář seznámen s průběhem průzkumného šetření, které bylo prováděno mezi seniory v Ústí nad Labem a v Kadani v období od listopadu 2008 do ledna 2009. Tato část je znázorněna formou tabulek, ve kterých jsou dány absolutní hodnoty a po-mocí grafů, které umožňují lepší představivost zjištěných údajů. Hodnocení je rozděleno do 3 částí: výsledky dotazníků, MNA testu a hypotéz. Hlavní přínos této práce spočívá v ucelení informací jak pro odbornou veřejnost, tak i pro laiky, nebo pacienty a jejich příbuzné, kterých se tato problematika dotýká. Poznatky mo-hou být využity při zvyšování kvality ošetřovatelské péče.

Abstract:

My bachelor theses cover the issue of obesity and malnutrition of elderly people. It is concerned with their diet and state of nutrition. In both cases there is first mentioned the medical side and then the nursing one is solved. At the end of the theoretical part there are the dietary principles for elderly people and new possibilities how to serve them. In the empirical part a reader learns about the process of the survey, which was done among seniors in Ústí nad Labem and Kadaň from November 2008 to January 2009. This part is shown in charts using the absolute values, and in graphs allowing better visualisation of the results. The evaluating is divided into three parts: survey results, MNA test and hypothesis. The main contribution of this work is integrating the information for both professional and non-specialised public, or for the patients and their relatives, who may be concerned with this issue. The knowledge can be used to level up the quality of nursing.
