Complex Nursing Care of the Patient with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Abstract:

TRAVKINA, Daria. Komplexní ošetřovatelská péče u pacienta s chronickou obstrukcí plic. Vysoká škola zdravotnická, o. p. s. Stupeň kvalifikace: Bakalář (Bc.). Vedoucí práce: PhDr. Karolina Moravcová, PhD. Praha, 2021. 57 s. Hlavním tématem bakalářské práce je zpracování komplexní ošetřovatelské péče o pacienta s chronickou obstrukcí plic. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřená na popis daného onemocnění. Zahrnuje definici CHOPN, stručný popis epidemiologie a ekonomickou stránku problému, příčiny vzniku onemocnění, patofyziologický proces, symptomy a komplikace, kterými může být onemocnění doprovázeno. Zkoumá také diagnostický, preventivní a léčebný proces. Popisuje ošetřovatelskou péči a její specifika ve vztahu k onemocnění chronickou obstrukcí plic. Je zaměřena i na péči ve spolupráci s nutričním terapeutem. Praktická část detailně popisuje kazuistiku pacienta s chronickou obstrukcí plic, hospitalizovaného na standardním interním lůžkovém oddělení. Podle určených ošetřovatelských diagnóz s pomocí ošetřovatelské dokumentace pacienta zachycuje ošetřovatelský proces a realizaci ošetřovatelské péče. Cílem bakalářské práce tak je analýza případu pacienta s chronickou obstrukcí plic a podrobný postup ošetřovatelské péče o něj. Závěrem bakalářské práce je doporučení pro praxi nejen pro všeobecné sestry, zdravotnický personál, pacienty a jejich příbuzné, ale i pro ostatní pacienty, kteří se s tímto onemocněním mohou setkat.

The main topic of the thesis is analyzing the complex nursing care for patient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The thesis is divided into two parts, meaning the theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part is focused on the description of the given disease. It contains the definition of COPD, brief description of the epidemiology and economic side of the problem, cause of the disease, pathophysiological process, symptoms and complications which can accompany the disease. It also researches the diagnostic, preventive and curative process. It describes the nursing care and its specifics in relation to the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is also focused on the care in cooperation with a nutritional therapist. The practical part describes in detail the case study of a patient with the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease hospitalized at the standard internal inpatient department. According to the set nursing diagnoses using the nursing documentation of the patient captures the nursing process and realization of the nursing care. The objective of the thesis is analysis a case of patient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and detailed description of the nursing care for him. The conclusion of the thesis is recommendation for practice not only of general nurse, medical staff, patients and their relatives but also for other patients which could encounter this disease.
